MX Multiangle Featured on Stones, Rush Concert DVDs

November 26, 2003

MX Entertainment, a firm specializing in enhancing the live music DVD experience, has licensed its MX Multiangle technology to a slate of record labels for recent concert DVD releases including the rolling Stones' Four Flicks (TGA/Best Buy) and Rush's Rush in Rio (Coming Home/Anthem).,/p>

MX-enabled DVDs provide a picture-in-picture preview that allows consumers to select their personal viewing choice using the arrow and enter keys on their remote control.

MX Multiangle powers the Four Flicks set's "Select a Stone" feature, whereby viewers can focus on Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts or Ronnie Wood during their performances of classic songs.

For the Rush in Rio DVD, the MX feature is used to give viewers the feel of the front row of the 60,000-person crowd that assembled for the concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Among other recent DVDs featuring MX multiangle are Tabla Beat Science's Talamanam Sound Clash: Further Adventures in Hypercussion (Palm Pictures) and The String Cheese Incident's Live from the Fillmore Auditorium Denver (Sanctuary Records/SCI Fidelity).

In addition to licensing its proprietary technologies, MX Entertainment provides creative services to DVD publishers, record labels and other businesses.
